Budget
- Many schools in SFUSD have budget deficits and do not have enough money to effectively operate.
- At Ruth Asawa School of the Arts they are having issues with the budget. A lot of teachers are either getting laid off or leaving the school because of a lack of money in the budget to pay teachers at Sota. Which is an issue facing all the schools in SFUSD.
Schools
- Schools are very important to a child's development for education and life skills. SFUSD's mismanagement is proving detrimental to children attending these schools.
- At Lowell high school, the contrevsial lottery system has led to debate over admissions into Lowell. Lowell also has a lack of funding and have had to cut many classes and lay off many teachers.
- Another one of the issuses a lot of SFUSD schools have are very old campuses that do not get upgraded. The campuses are outdated and are never fixed.
